Leading Jeep parts retailers and warehouse distributors like Quadratec, 4WD Hardware, JC Whitney, 4 Wheel Parts Wholesalers, Keystone Automotive are all Omix, Rugged Ridge and Outland Automotive distributors. Moreover, Omix-Ada is the top business partner to all of these companies as well as about 500 other Jeep parts retailers, warehouse distributors, installers and Internet merchandisers in the USA and around the globe.

Business Challenge
Omix-Ada sought to streamline order entry for their high volume customer base while keeping order entry errors to a complete bare minimum. Omix-Ada customer service team spent countless hours manually entering orders on a daily basis. Due to the recent company growth in sales, managers started realizing that productivity levels of the customer service team were dropping and order entry descrepencies were rising from the increase of incoming orders. Omix-Ada determined that a system that could automate the order entry process without human intervention should be developed to meet the expanding needs and business requirements of the company.

Solution Approach
Global Gains senior project personnel worked directly with the Omix-Ada team to quickly gather, analyze and document each of the key project requirements. These requirements were then extended into detailed design documents that dictated the precise architecture of the business application process.

Once the design phases were completed, Global Gains provided comprehensive implementation services including database architecture, software architecture, application programming, web service integration and testing. Global Gains also provided a secure management portal which allows the Omix-Ada team to track, review and confirm incoming orders on a real time basis.

Results Delivered
Global Gains and Omix-Ada launched the new integrated automated Order entry process into production. Today Omix-ada receives thousands of automated orders monthly with no human intervention and error free. The process continues to run and new customers of Omix-Ada sign up to take advantage of the automated system. Customer Service production levels have increased due to more time upselling and actually helping the customer.
